Before I get really too a head of myself I have got to stop-pause and record this visit. Looking back through these pictures today brought a huge smile on my face ๐ .. yes, like that.
I love how quickly the kiddos pick up right where they left off and can have such an awesome time together. We filled the days with so much fun. Turns out-when you make plans with the kids in mind you also end up having such great memories to hold on too.
The ratio of kid to adult never looked quite right to onlookers and yet everyone was usually smiling. A seemingly impossible task somehow made possible. But, I truly felt like this visit was seamless on how great the kids all were.
We went from the canal to the ninja gym on day 1. And every day following there was no shortage of plans.
My friend Terri once commented on a picture of Uncle Justin and Jonah that it looked like "their souls were talking." Since she said that it seems more evident of the special bond the two of them seems to share and I absolutely adore it.
The days of their visit the Bend weather could not make up it's mind. It went from sunny to rainy an instant. The day we went to the river was just that. When we arrived it was sunny and warm and suddenly it was a downpour. We ran under the bridge to see if we could wait it out, but it only came down harder. We sat altogether watching the the raindrops hit the water of the river, laughed, and skipped rocks under the bridge. Whitney and I ran out into to gather the rest of our things that we had originally thought would not get that wet and then Justin went out to run to the tree followed by the two little boys because it just looked too much fun to resist.

We were also really excited to take them to Phil's trail- which surprisingly we had not done before- so the kiddos could all have a hand at an intro to mountain biking. They all did great. Mara was really in her element taking off a head of everyone. It really is such a fun place to go and really that is only the beginning of the kind of mountain biking that can be done in that area.

We are so lucky to have them as part of our family. We loved spending time with them, and of course, you can tell from looking at Josh's face on how they felt about when they had to leave. Cut to Josh's face.. Not too happy.
We are so grateful they came and are so thankful for all the great memories. ๐
